Diligent Resdev was a winner on the first day of York's May meeting as Joanna Mason continued her fantastic form to take the seven furlong 'Conundrum HR Consulting Handicap'. A perfectly judged ride saw Joanna hit the front in the shadow of the winning post to collect the £12,000 winning prizemoney, denying Ziggy's Condor ridden by Oisin Orr by a short head. |

Diligent Resdev had been a 33/1 winner on his debut at Newcastle in December and proved he's a horse with a future with a battling performance on the Knavesmire. The stable had a full sweep of honours as groom Sara Maggi also collected the best turned out prize before the race. |
