Chestnut filly Francestra won the 'Townhead Handicap' at Hamilton in 1979. She was a difficult horse to win with and ran 25 times recoding just one win but plenty of places. Francestra raced for the last time at Teesside Park in November 1979 and was sold as a broodmare and became the dam of Fairward Frankie.
