Chamform made his debut at Pontefract in 1965 in a race won by stablemate High Table. She won the 'Wood Pit 2yo Selling Plate' at Haydock Park under Lionel Brown as a two-year-old. Chamform left the yard for Frank Carr and went hurdling.
