Hayat won the 'Cadzow 3 yo Stakes' at Hamilton in September 1965, her victory was one leg of the first ever treble for the stable with Weft and Fleece also winning. After her racing career Hayat was sold as a broodmare, with offspring including Palestis, Saxelbye, Affirmative, Inverlochy Castle and Panapana.
