Poolesta won on her debut at York in 1991, taking the 'EBF Zetland Maiden Fillies Stakes'. She was second in the Lowther Stakes at York in 1991 and placed in the Group 1 'Moyglare Stud Fillies Stakes' at the Curragh. She left the stable in 1992 to be trained by John Oxx in Ireland.
