Mormeatmic finished third on his debut at Pontefract in April 2005. He won four races as a three-year-old with victories at Catterick, Carlisle and twice at Ayr. Paul Mulrennan was the jockey in the saddle for all four wins. Rated 78 at his peak, Mormeatmic's form dropped off and he ran his last race at Thirsk in August 2009.
