The flat season comes to it's official end at Doncaster on Saturday as we send four horses to Town Moor.

The Virgin Bet Training Series Final Apprentice Handicap has divided and Division I kicks of proceedings at 11.55 with Stanage and Skewsby representing the yard. Stanage bounced back to form and ended a long losing run at Ayr on his penultimate start and has form on easy ground. Skewsby is much more lightly raced and has had just four starts, finishing midfield on the all weather last time out from his first rating of 74. He has been dropped two pounds for that run and returns to turf on which he's been placed twice from three starts.

Half an hour later veteran Beauty Choice bids to follow up his Redcar victory in the second division of the seven furlong contest. He's one of three horses to have recorded a win last time out, with King's School and Golden Strike also having posted victories in their previous races. We know our horse loves the easy ground and the surface at Doncaster should be ideal for him.

The final race of the turf season is the six furlong Virgin Bet Daily Extra Places Handicap which has attracted a full complement of 22 runners. Call To Action is our interest here, as he bids to make it three wins in a row. Raised a hefty eight pounds for his romp at Pontefract last month he'll again be partnered by Joanna Mason, but will need to turn in a career-best performance off his BHA mark of 89.
