Big Apple Jack will head to Ripon on Saturday as he seeks his second win of the 2026 season as he contests Division I of the Michael Raby Memorial Handicap. The four-year-old was a winner last time out at Hamilton where he recorded his first career victory in first time blinkers which are retained today.

Big Apple Jack was raised three pounds to a BHA rating of 60 following his win and he should go well again and will be ridden by Tom Eaves.

Liverpool Star won over course and distance in April and will line up for Division II of the race. He hasn't made the frame in five races since his maiden win and as a consequence is back down to a handicap mark of 65, the rating from which he won in April. Paul Mulrennan takes the ride.
Canon's House is another horse returning to the scene of his last victory and he tackles Division II of the Sky Sports Racing Sky 415 Handicap over the minimum trip.

Successful over course and distance last August he's on a ten race losing run now and now rated 80 he's six pounds below his latest winning mark.

The five-year-old ran his best race of the year when going down to Copper Knight by a head at Beverley in April, and he was third here in July from a mark of 86.

Canon's House will wear first time blinkers.
