Lamlash Bay was a winner this afternoon in the sunshine at Thirsk as he took the six furlong Sapphire Selling Handicap under Billy Garritty.

The son of Harry Angel was recording his second win of the season, having previously scored at Ripon. The victory made it three wins for the 50 Club this year, with Trucial Pearl also getting her head in front at Ripon in June.
