We send two horses to Thirsk's 'Easter Family Day' today, including a home-bred juvenile who makes his debut.

Hicko's Lad, who was bred here, will make his debut in the Join Racing TV Today Maiden Stakes. A son of the Camacho mare Hicko's Girl, the chestnut two-year-old will carry the colours of Mark Hickling Racing. Hicko's Boy has spent his whole life here, having been foaled at Norton Grove Stud in 2024, and we know him as 'Morris'.

With Final Appeal, the form pick, a non-runner Thebestisyetocome might be the one to be on here. Trained by Adrian Keatley he is an interesting debutant having been purchased for £100,000 at Goffs last year.

Rocklaw has her third racecourse outing as she tackles the second division of the racingtv.com Restricted Novice Stakes. Eighth on both of her two previous starts, she'll be ridden by Joanna Mason who takes over from Jimmy Sullivan. We leave off the headgear that was worn last time.

Ed Dunlop's Bearish looks the one to beat here. Fourth in a Newmarket novice race that has thrown up winners he will be a warm order and is forecast at odds on.
