Resdev's in-form hurdler The Resdev Tyke heads to Town Moor this weekend where he will line up for the Virgin Bet Novices' Handicap Hurdle over an extended two miles.

The son of Schiaparelli will be ridden by Tom Midgley as he bids to add to his victories at Wetherby and Market Rasen and make it three wins in a row.

The Resdev Tyke recorded his first career victory on Boxing Day at Wetherby from a rating of 93. Now 12 pounds higher in the handicap he will race off a mark of 105 and takes joint-top weight at Doncaster.

Ten horses have been declared for the race where our horse looks likely to be a warm favourite.
