Hurdler The Resdev Tyke heads to Market Rasen this morning as he aims to back up his maiden win.

The five-year-old son of Schiaparelli was a winner at Wetherby on Boxing Day and has been raised six pounds for his efforts.

The Resdev Tyke will line up for the Watch Racing TV Today Conditional Jockeys' Handicap Hurdle over an extended two miles as he bids to make it two victories in a row. Market Rasen had 14mm of rain on Thursday and into this morning and the ground is now soft (good to soft in places) on the hurdles course.

Shan't Wait looks the one to beat here, he put in a much improved performance after wind surgery when beaten just three quarters of a length at Sedgefield. He has the ability to win a race.

Dilly's Gunner

Dilly's Gunner also makes the trip to Lincolnshire where she runs in the Book Our Caravan Park In 2026 Novices' Hurdle. Last on the track also on Boxing Day at Wetherby, she finished midfield and now drops back to 2m2½f. Tom Midgley takes the ride.

The horse to beat looks to be Hold The Serve, who was a comfortable winner at Wincanton last month on his first run after wind surgery. Olly Murphy's grey looks capable of defying the seven pound penalty he carries for the win.
