We head to Essex on Sunday where there's an additional fixture following the abandonment of a number of meetings due to frozen tracks.

What What What will be having his third race of the season. He has finished fourth in his last four outings, most recently on Friday at Newcastle, and he'll be aiming for his second career win when he runs in the Betfred Nifty 50 Handicap. Recent scorers Sir Rodneyredblood and Gogo Yubari bring winning form into the race, and the former was very impressive when scoring here on Thursday by 4¼ lengths and looks well ahead of the handicapper. Gogo Yubari made it two in a row at Lingfield on Saturday and will be a big player if turning out again.

Atomic Mass will bid for his first all weather win when he lines up for the six furlong Betfred Best Odds All Races Handicap. A winner in the summer at Wetherby he had a busy 2025 with 14 runs and he'll be making his seasonal debut.

Blueandtangerine


Blueandtangerine is our final runner of the day in the Betfred Play Fred's £5 Million Handicap. She's another horse bidding for a second career win having been successful as a juvenile at Beverley in 2024. She's yet to place in three all weather starts and was last seen in December when 12th of 14, beaten 9¾ lengths by Reginald Charles, at Southwell.
The race meeting has a rider restriction on all races and of our mounts are taken by Lewis Chalkley (What What What, Blueandtangerine) and Tom Kiely-Marshall (Atomic Mass). The races are restricted to specific jockeys based on their recent performance in that riders must have ridden 30 or fewer winners in Flat races in Great Britain between January 1, 2025, and December 31, 2025, inclusive.
