The Resdev Tyke wins at Wetherby to record first career victory

The Resdev Tyke was a winner at Wetherby this afternoon, taking the William Hill Daily Bet Boosts Handicap Hurdle under Craig Nichol.

The son of Schiaparelli raced prominently and after making headway three out he hit the front at the two furlong pole and ran on well. He was winning at the fifth time of asking and came home two and a half lengths ahead of Avalon Beach.

There had been plenty of money for The Resdev Tyke and he was returned as the 5/2 favourite.
