We head back to Gosforth Park for a late afternoon card under the floodlights.

Carolus Magnus finished second at Wolverhampton on Saturday and he turns out again quickly in the Best Odds Guaranteed At BetMGM Handicap where Joanna Mason rides. It was his best run to date on the all weather with his previous wins all having come on turf and he should have a race or two in him this winter. Carolus Magnus will wear first time blinkers to help him concentrate.

Front Gunner looks the horse to beat. He was a course and distance winner last time out and the form has been franked. Swiss Ace and Blufferonthebus are also on the shortlist.

The Create Your Bet Builders At Midnite Handicap has divided and we have a runner in each half. Laurens Dream will be ridden by Joanna Mason in the first division and she has proven course and distance form as a juvenile, having won here over both six and seven furlongs as a juvenile. She's now 11 pounds below her winning mark of 65 here last year. Call Glory looks the danger having finished runner up over course and distance last week.

Billy Garritty rides Sharp Call in the second division of the race. Sharp Call returns from a break and will wear first time blinkers. The horse they all have to beat in the second half is Teardrops who bids for as third consecutive victory.

Carlton and Co has been in fine form this year having recorded three wins and she steps back to the minimum trip in the Midnite, Building The Future Of Betting Handicap. Yet to win at less than six furlongs, she's only tackled five furlongs on three occasions, her best effort coming when third to Pockley here back in 2022.

Carlton and Co has had a busy year and has posted three wins and two places from her 14 runs in 2025 and is now six pounds higher than when winning here last month. She's a consistent sort who always runs her race and we think she'll go well.
