Earlier this year we retired yard favourite Contrast. A resident at the yard for six years, he won eight races in total, and departed this autumn for retirement with our friend Dawn down in Norfolk.
"Contrast will soon be coming back into work," says new owner Dawn. "I've got saddle and now just waiting for his bit and stirrup leathers and off we go."
"He's been out a lot in hand walking up and down and slopes pole work. He's a lovely boy and he was so good when I rode him for saddle check. He will have his teeth done next week and he's having his back checked too."
