Call To Action bounced back to form this evening when taking the 'City of Ripon Handicap' ridden by yard apprentice Lewis Chalkley. After being keen in the early stages, the four-year-old stayed on well at the finish and the pair finished a neck in front of Ready Freddie Go.

Purchased out of Kevin Ryan's yard in February 2024, the son of Soldier's Call had been quiet since arriving with us but he showed signs of a return to form when fourth at Redcar a fortnight ago and we knew his time would come.

Call To Action is owned by a partnership of David Scott, Resdev, Capla Developments and Lee Westwood who picked up first place prizemoney of £6,185. After being easy to back in the market his supporters were rewarded at generous odds of 20/1.
