Serena Brotherton secured a third course and distance win for Unplugged at Pontefract this afternoon. Recording his fourth career victory the gallant nine-year-old took the '23rd Wilfred Underwood Memorial Amateur Jockeys' Handicap', beating Pride Of Nepal by a length and a quarter.

Serena and Unplugged won this race in 2023 and were runners up when beaten a neck last year and the crucial fast ground came to their aid this afternoon.

Unplugged loves Pontefract having recorded three wins and two seconds from just six appearances, including a remarkable victory in 2022 when returning from a 1078 day lay off. He carries the colours of Simon Windle's Pellon Racing and is also co-owned by Serena Brotherton who has now won three times aboard the gallant son of Alhebayeb.
