Joanna Mason made it back to back winners for Gary Routledge-owned Sondad as he took the 'JRA Tokyo Trophy Handicap' at Epsom on Derby day.

A winner at Ascot last month, the son of Washington DC made another trip south to scoop the first prize of almost £40,000 at odds of 12/1.

Sondad was quite at home in the soggy conditions on the Downs and came home three quarters of a length in front of Twilight Jet to record his fourth career victory.
